The above ladies made my beauty, makeup loving heart skip a beat from this years Met Gala. Like I said in the previous post I am all about people who go for it with their look but I love too when it's done right. Ginnifer Goodwin's brows to lid shadow, Anne Hathaway's blonde hair(!!), Rooney Mara's purple lip, Kirsten Stewart's purple pink rimmed eyes, Elle Fanning's blue, pink winged eyes and Nicole Richie's white hair(!!!!). I can't take it! Bravo ladies!

These are my favorite looks from the 2013 Met Gala. The theme this year was Punk: Chaos to Couture which made me more than excited to see how everyone was going to show up. I always a big fan of people really going for it, pushing their comfort zone and doing it in style (Hello, Nicole Richie).

The backstage beauty shots from the Calvin Klein Collection Spring/Summer 2013 runway show has all the makings of a summer beauty look. The hair has that messy, tousled, I've been at the beach all day and don't want to brush it look going. Add the deep side part and you've taken that salt water day time hair to night sexy hair, then add a bold brow with humble skin and eyes. It has a summer ease with a lot of sexiness. I can't wait to try it.

Leather in the next coming months is going to get...well sweaty. As of right now though, we are in full spring where one day it's warm, next cloudy, possible rain or maybe just a heavy breeze. All this means to me is that I can still get away with wearing a leather skirt. I want to thank these three women pictured Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson and Alexa Chung. They really take the trend up a notch to show off their real styling prowess which makes you want to get a skirt of your very own.

Cèline's Spring/Summer '13 collection has much been discussed for the fuzzy, birkenstock slipper that showed down the runway last fall. Yes, I too think they were very notable and worthy of the attention from this collection but it's not all. I loved all the leather, knots, twist, fabrics and colors that showed for this Spring. The pale blue leather lunch bag handbag has me drooling and with the matching bracelets. I can't get enough! I just found all the details so beautiful, simple and impactful.

I love both these red carpet looks on Rachel McAdams and Kirsten Dunst and their use of the black satin ribbon-headband. Rachel's top knot is perfect. I love the use of the headband with an updo, her red hair and the pale pink lip, done! Kirsten looks very Brigitte Bardot inspired and let's be honest, you can never go wrong with that.
