Having a mega outfit crush on Nicole Richie right here. I am loving her pulled back hair and the no makeup.

Sasha Pivovarova is the star of the Saint Laurent Cruise 2014 campaign. Say what you want about Hedi Silmane but I find these images edgy, beautiful and full of luxury.

Christian Dior's last two runway shows Fall 2013 Ready-to-Wear and most recently Resort 2014 has captured my beauty attention. Let's start with silver lid. Now I have, during the early(ish) 2000s, very much used the the sparkle shadow and used it often(thank you Britney). Then it was more about white shimmer than say a silver which has a bit of grey to it. I had sworn off of said silver as it became dated, over done and I vowed NEVER AGAIN! Well, I should have known better than to say such things as I am back on the sparkle, shimmer, metallic stuff once again. HOW COULD I NOT?! I can't help it! It is so pretty! look at those lovely images. Thanks to Christian Dior's use of it during the Fall RTW show, I had been pondering about it and how in a more silver form, less white, it is very eye catching, yet I found it subtle. I am big fan of silver used as liner and also as a soft shadow from lid to eyebrow. The contrast then with the pink lip makes it such a powerful look. Both pinks are blue based which is why it compliments with the silver so well which is very cool together. The lip variation from both shows is an added trend with the center stained pink from Fall RTW and the more structured lined lip from Resort. I also greatly enjoy that the beauty theme continued between the both shows showing how they can work the trend with each season.

It's so nice to see in a world where there are so many products, so much color, so much everything, to see a starlet brave the red carpet not overly done. Looking simply like their beautiful selves. I love when a makeup artist just enhances what is already there. It's almost refreshing to see Jennifer Lawrence at the premiere of The Great Gatsby and Carey Mulligan at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball be so natural. It's all about the skin sans any blush, bronzer, illuminator (SHOCKING), with a natural brow, taupe eyeshadow, light on the mascara, and a little gloss. To add the hair is pulled back, minimal accessories and both wearing all black which keeps the look effortlessly chic.

Chloe Sevigny in Dolce & Gabbana. I love that the length of her coat is longer than her dress.

Leather in the next coming months is going to get...well sweaty. As of right now though, we are in full spring where one day it's warm, next cloudy, possible rain or maybe just a heavy breeze. All this means to me is that I can still get away with wearing a leather skirt. I want to thank these three women pictured Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson and Alexa Chung. They really take the trend up a notch to show off their real styling prowess which makes you want to get a skirt of your very own.
I love when a runway beauty look translates to real life or sort of real life. Leelee Sobieski's take on this slicked back wet hair, red lip à la Barbara Bui Spring/Summer 2013 show has me way too happy. It's like a sexy take on an 80s vibe. I am into it. I also, firmly believe that wearing a red lip changes lives.

I really do just want to do this trend. I resisted for a little but all I want to do now is wear leather pants and Nikes. Let's be honest too, if Phoebe Philo is doing it, we all should be doing it. Sneakers in general are coming back into high fashion but I think Nike is doing a great job of getting into this trend for all it's worth. Their online store offers a wide variety of selections including customization (yes, please!). I have a pair of Nike Dunk's that I bought almost 10 years ago and I just never had the courage to get rid of....and I never will.
