With summer fast approaching (summer solstice is June 21) and June gloom setting in, I’m feeling a little dark, a little more moody. Maybe it's because southern California never truly has a winter or I'm fearing the heat of the months ahead.

I know with summer it’s all about the color! But I say f*** that! I’m just not ready for all the pink, coral and aqua that I know is coming. Let’s break some rules. Be dark while the sun is shining. Like Jilian, wear a dark lip in summer, even if it melts down your face.
